Meet OpenCode in Mains
0.22 brings OpenCode to Mains, alongside a new home for tasks and a clearer view of your chats and workspace activity.
work with OpenCode
OpenCode joins the agents you can use for coding in Mains. Connect a model provider with opencode auth login, then choose OpenCode and a model for your session. The model picker groups available models by provider.
Choose Build or Plan for the session from the composer, or set your preferred agent under Settings → OpenCode. Tool calls, edit previews, and approval requests appear in the conversation as OpenCode works.
a home for tasks
Tasks now has its own place in the sidebar. Browse issues, narrow the list with filters, and open an issue to see its details and properties. Status mapping brings the different statuses from your connected services into the Tasks view, making work across projects easier to follow.
smaller changes
- A clearer sidebar: Developer chats are grouped with their workspaces. Chats in archived workspaces stay out of the list until you restore the workspace.
- Readable workspace activity: Activity rows show more useful information and can be opened for details. File status and approval requests have also been refined.
- Easier mentions: Removing mentions from the composer and working with their chips feels more consistent.
- Smoother navigation: Scrolling and layouts have been adjusted across the app.
- Updated Codex support: Account handling, image generation, and session events have been improved.
