Talk it through
0.15 brings three new ways to work with your agents: talk it through out loud, open your apps without waiting for an agent to call them, and review changes line by line before they ship.
talk to Codex (experimental)
When the composer in a Codex chat is empty, the send button becomes Start voice chat. Talk it through out loud, the way you would with a teammate. For bigger tasks, Codex starts a separate chat to do the work, which you can open from the sidebar, and keeps talking with you in the meantime.
- Stay in control: Mute your microphone or end the call at any time. When you're done, you can keep going in the same chat by typing.
- Make it yours: Pick a voice, hear a preview, and choose how the voice orb looks (Cloud, Sphere, or Aurora) in Settings → Codex → Voice.
your apps, one click away
Apps from your Codex plugins no longer have to wait for an agent to call them. Open one from Apps in the navigation rail, and pin up to five you use most.
- Beside your chat: An app opens next to a conversation, so you can ask about what's on screen. Whatever it hands to the conversation shows up as chips you can remove before sending.
- Full window: Expand an app to fill the window and the chat comes along on top.
review your changes
Open Review in the Changes panel to see every uncommitted change as one scrolling list of collapsible diffs. Hover a line and click to leave a comment. Your comments collect in the composer and go to the agent with your next message, each pinned to its file and line.
- Find your way: Jump to any changed file by name, and switch between split and unified diffs.
- Give it room: Expand Review to fill the window. The chat floats alongside, so you can send feedback without leaving the diff.
steer Codex mid-turn
In a Codex chat, you no longer have to wait for a turn to finish. Keep typing while Codex works, and your message waits above the composer until the current turn is done.
- Steer: If it can't wait, click Steer to send a queued message into the turn that's already running.
- Rearrange: Edit or remove queued messages, or drag them into a new order (
⌥↑and⌥↓work too). - Nothing sneaks out: Stopping a run pauses the queue until you resume it.
point at what you mean
Click Annotate browser in the in-app browser, then click the parts of the page you're talking about: a button, a heading, a whole card. Add a comment and choose Add to chat. The agent gets a highlighted screenshot along with exactly which elements you picked, so "make this bigger" no longer needs a description of what "this" is.
You can add several annotations before sending, and edit or remove any of them from the composer.
ready on first launch
Claude Code and GitHub Copilot now come with Mains, so there's nothing extra to install. Onboarding shows where each agent stands and lets you sign in right there.
smaller changes
- Chats remember their settings: Model, effort, permissions, and other toggles stay with each chat. New chats start from your defaults.
- Pick where a new chat starts: Choose the workspace or project right above the composer.
- Sidebar previews: Hover a chat or workspace for a preview card with quick actions.
- Copilot streams its replies: Answers appear as they're written, and Fast mode speeds up the Auto model.
- Every effort level: Codex models offer every effort level they support, as soon as they support it.
- Steadier Cursor: Each chat gets its own connection to Mains tools, and a connection error no longer looks like a finished reply.
- Clearer forms and approvals: Forms from MCP servers check your answers before sending, and Copilot's approval requests now look like everyone else's.
- Refreshed icons and buttons across the app.
